The Date Night Jar

There is never an end to the possibilities you can do with your significant other on date nights.  But since we are all busy people and may not always have time to think of the next big plan, we need some help once in awhile.  Or maybe we just want to mix it up!  The "Date Night Jar" is my solution!  This is a fun and simple thing you can put together with that special person in your life.

Start by writing down all sorts of ideas that you can do on a simple date night.  This can just be a night at home when you don't want to get all dressed up or spend any money.  The possibilities are endless with the "Date Night Jar".

I cut a normal sized printer paper into slits the long way and wrote an idea on each slip.  Then I folded these strips into origami stars (you can find tutorials on how to do this all over the web).  The origami stars are not necessary, just add to the excitement of revealing the plan for the night.  ...and they look kool!  After I folded up all of my ideas, I put them in a mason jar!  That is all there is to it! Obviously you can decorate your jar, or color code the slips of paper, maybe blue for night activities and yellow for day activities.  You could even do one color for date night ideas that require going out of the house versus staying in.  Whatever your heart desires!

1. Start a new show on Netflix together

2. Go on a bike ride

3. Go to a high school sporting event

4. Find a DIY project and make it together
